Anandakuti Vihar is a Buddhist Monastery situated in Swayambhu, Nepal. It is believed that this is the first Theravada Buddhism based Vihar in Nepal.
The monastery was badly damaged by the devastating Earthquake of Nepal 2015 and later it was reconstructed with the aid of Srilankan Government.
Locals claim that this place has a rare piece of bone that belongs to Lord Buddha.
People often visit Anandakuti Vihar in search of peace to meditate and to hear life learning lessons recited by Buddhist Monks.
